Description
White-breasted Cormorant (Phalacrocorax lucidus) - As the name suggests, this large bird has a white neck and breast with the white increasing as the bird matures. This bird has a wide distribution in sub-Saharan Africa. After diving for food, cormorants spread out their wings to dry and are a familiar sight on water bodies where these birds exist.

Excellent Shot. I have not seen them in white yet. Beautiful moment capture.

Thank you Jake. This too was my first sighting of the white breasted cormorant.

Nice shot, I have never seen this kind, so much prettier than our all black ones here!
Pravine Chester replied:
Thank you Donna. Yes this bird is certainly much prettier than the black ones
