Description
The Hamburg Rathaus or the city hall dominates the centre of the city of Hamburg with it’s impressive architecture. Built between 1886 and 1897, this sandstone building houses the city’s senate and parliament. The building has 647 rooms and stands on 4,000 oak piles. The Rathaus is located near the Alster Lake and the central station.
