Description
View of this old church from the window of the hotel that I was staying in. Rebuilt in the 19th Century, this Gothic Catholic church has a blackened façade which is believed to be the intention of the designer rather than a testament to the church’s ancient origins.
The church may however soon be desecrated and turned into a fruit and vegetable market .
