Description
The Cape Buffalo or African buffalo is one of the ‘Big Five’ game family. These are unpredictable and dangerous animals and are said to be responsible for killing more people in Africa than any other animal. They have few predators aside from lions and are quite capable of defending themselves and have been recorded killing a lion and chasing lions up a tree after the lions had killed a member of the group. When attacked by predators, the herd will stick together and gather the calves in the center. June 2015. Serengeti National Park.

The black and white conversion, Pravine, reminds me, very old books edited in the 50s, 60s, 70s, of photographs on the African wildlife.
